Aaliyah Dana Haaughton rose to fame after releasing her first album Age Ain't Nothing More Than an Number in 1994. The album came out as Gold when she was fifteen years old. This collaboration was highly inspired by R. Kelly, and put the singer on the map. In 1996, she collaborated with Jermaine Dpri and Timbaland in her second studio album One In A Million, featuring the number one hit single If Your Girl knew.
